Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Chairman Yehia Zaki left for Budapest on Tuesday to attend the Egyptian-Hungarian Business Forum.
“The SCZone is attending the forum to advertise investment opportunities and communicate directly with the business community in Hungary,” Zaki said.
The SCZone seeks to boost bilateral co-operation with Budapest in various fields to attract diverse investments and enact the SCZone strategy for 2020-2025, Zaki added.
Zaki will brief the forum on SCZone efforts in all aspects of digitisng Egypt’s ports.
The future of foreign investment in the SCZone will also be highlighted in Zaki’s presentation.
Before leaving, Zaki received Hungarian Ambassador in Cairo András Kovács in the presence of SCZone CEO Walid Gamal Eddin to discuss final arrangements for the zone’s participation in the forum in Budapest.
